We've significantly improved reporting and analytics for manufacturing.

In Power BI, the Power BI Manufacturing app now offers the following capabilities:

Gant Chart report

Data Label moved to right of the bar chart.
Squared corners of Gantt chart bars.

Posted Output Quantity

Measure and Routing Status fields are added to Routing Line Details table.

Finished Production Order Breakdown

Sorting is applied based on the Prod Order Source No. on the Actual Cost by Source No. visual.

Task List Drill Through

Replaced Setup, Run, Wait, and Move Time measures with static fields.
Added Work Center Name and Machine Center Name columns to Task List Details visual.
Added the visual calculation Total Run Time to the horizontal KPI card.

Work Center Load

Split the Work Center Load Details into two tables. This resolves repeating production orders from showing against unrelated work centers.

Production Order Overview

Added a Total Actual Cost measure to the Current Production Orders visual.

Finished Production Order Breakdown

Added a Total Actual Cost measure to Finished Production Orders Breakdown.

Released Production Orders

Added a Total Actual Cost measure to Released Production Order Details.

Prod Order - List

Added a Total Actual Cost measure to Prod. Order List Details.

We also made the following changes to the semantic model.

Capacity Unit Of Measure

Refactored all measures for capacity to show values in a universal unit of measure. You can define the unit of measure on the Manufacturing Setup page in the Show Capacity In field.

Show capacity in a subtitle is added to the following visuals:

Current Work Center Utilization by Year, Month, Week and Day on the Current Utilization report.
Work Center Load Details on the Historical Utilization report.
Work Center Load Details and Production Orders by Work Center visuals on the Work Center Load report.
Allocated Time Details on the Allocated Hours report.
All visuals on the Expected Capacity Need report.
Capacity Variance Details visual on the Capacity Variance report.
All visuals on the Average Production Times report.
Statistic Details on the Work Center Statistics report.
Statistic Details on the Machine Center Statistics report.

The model for the app now lets you add dimensions as filters or slicers. The actual dimension names, such as Customer Group Name, are available for global dimensions and for the first few shortcut dimensions. Check the Dimension Sets table to try it.
